PINEWOOD DERBY

The Pinewood Derby™ is a Cub Scout tradition that goes back generations. Every year more than a million Cub Scouts and adult partners team up to participate in a Pinewood Derby® where scouts build cars out of small blocks of wood; learning valuable craft building skills as well as the rules of fair play and good sportsmanship. The point is not competition so much as it is to live the Cub Scout motto of “Do Your Best”.
